Head right and enter the school, it is the first door you come across. Keep running down the hall, and eventually, you’ll come to a Science Fair going on with quite some interesting inventions. However, our genius CJ is missing. Head over to the weird man in a red shirt and an even more mysterious mustache, and you’ll find out that he’s Mr. Silva, the teacher in charge of the Science Fair. Strike up a conversation with him and choose the third option; “Do you think she’s just running late?”

After that conversation, talk to her parents, and they will ask you to search their apartment. So leave the School and head right all the way over to Avenue A. See that house with the cat in front of the door? Enter that house, and you will notice that the cat followed you in. It will start darting through the house and into rooms, chase him down until it mysteriously disappears in the bathroom.

Run into CJ’s room to the left, and you’ll notice a microscope. Examine the little note under the microscope. Remember when we said that ray gun could shrink anything? This applies for you too because as soon as you look away from the lens, a man in a wide-brimmed hat covering most of his face zaps you with it, and you have to continue the game the same size as an insect.

Take a minute and get used to the new perspective, then go right and hop onto the drawer, shimmy up the wind chimes and look to your right. You should see a fan. Jump onto the fan and push it down, then power it on. It’ll clear out the dust from under the bed, revealing a thumb drive under CJ’s bed. This would be handy if we had a computer, we’ll have to find one. For now, however, run right into the kitchen and you’ll notice some drawers sticking out a little bit. Jump into the second drawer and grab the screwdriver there. Hop unto the counter, and the sink, and head right into the dining area.

Next, we’ll need to grab that piece of paper on the table. Push the rolling pin that is in your way, and it’ll shove the kettle to the alight stove. You will need to use the steam spouting from the kettle to blow you to the shelf above, with the flour, sugar, and vinegar. Jump up and hit the bottle near the top to tip it over. Drop down to the floor and push the pet bowl under the dripping vinegar. Get back onto the counter and jump onto the bag of cat food, every time you stomp on it, a little cat food falls into the bowl. It should be filled in about four stomps.

Push the now full bowl all the way to the right, just under the chair and stand on it. Use it to jump on the table to grab the note. As you do so, a grape will fall from the bunch. Leave that be for a second to grab the note from the table. The note smells like Lemon Juice, which in any mystery ever means only one thing: invisible ink. Pick up the grape now and jump off the table. Head left and use the drawers to reach the countertop again. This time, walk past the rolling pin and on to a toaster. Drop your grape and plug in the toaster, then pick that grape back up and jump on to the toaster handle to switch it on. You will need the extra weight from the grape to push the handle down. Drop the grape and jump back on to the toaster handle and it will launch you into the air.

You will now have access to a shelf with a bunch of wooden spoons. Head over to the salt shaker and push it all the way until it’s on one end of the spatula lying on the shelf. Climb onto the container holding the spoons and jump onto the flipping side of the spatula. This will launch the salt into the air, and when it comes down will in turn launch you right up to the fridge. Grab the remote lying here and jump off.

Hop off the fridge and run left into the apartment’s central area. You will need the screwdriver to open up the side compartment of a toy truck, grab its battery and plug it into the remote. Stomp on the buttons to turn the TV on. Climb the TV, right up to the antenna to get a static charge, and then hop off to the left to crash into that green balloon there. You are tiny and statically charged, so you stick onto the balloon, which carries you up and onto a painting’s frame. Walk left across the frame and jump onto a shelf with some fish food. Push it left to pour some scoops into the fish tank below. Hop off the shelf and wait till the fish are eating. You will need to turn off the filter, jump in to collect the key to CJ’s diary, and then get out again. Head back to the kitchen after this.

Here, you will need to push the green sponge into the power clean spray. Use the sponge and the spray to jump up and into the garbage. The garbage is a cleverly executed puzzle, follow the steps below to solve it:

  • Push the tuna can right to cover the gap. You can continue your descent into the hole.
  • Pull the sponge back and drop the tower. The path above is now clear so jump back up and go right.
  • Push off the milk and follow it when it falls.
  • At the bottom, jump onto the sports drink on your left, and then push the highest tuna off the platform.
  • Drop down and push the sponge left and then pull the tuna on the right to drop the tower.
  • Jump onto the tuna treats, then the platform on the left and finally right again.
  • Go down this path, then pull the tuna back. Jump up, and you can now collect the diary page.

You still have the Ninja Vision trick to look ahead acquired in Red Dragon. So click ‘Restart’ and leave the trash.

From the location of the fish tank, turn right and into the bathroom. Use the drawers to jump up and onto the right light switch to turn off the ventilation fan, then jump left on to the hot water faucet to turn it on. This will steam up the bathroom, revealing something written on the mirror;

Her first email is regarding her shrink ray. Her blueprints are in the thumb drive, so use it, and they’ll be uploaded on the laptop. Next, jump on to the computer and then on the shelf above. You will find CJ’s diary on it, which you can open using that key you saw in the fish tank. Use the page from the trash to complete the torn spread and reveal the entire message. CJ shrunk herself to escape from the shrink ray thief.

Hop off left and on to the thermostat. Run left until the thermostat turns to the red zone. Drop back on the desk and use the lamp on the paper that smelled like lemon. To do this, you’ll need to jump on the light about four times to point it downwards then turn it on to reveal the message: “Look for me in the telescope. School coordinates.” Very helpful CJ, the school coordinates can be found on CJ’s cork board in the bedroom. Just hop off the desk and run to the left. You will need to knock over the trash bin. Its contents will start floating from the heating duct because we turned the thermostat all the way! Use them to climb up and jump off to the left and onto the bed, grabbing the Morse Code Key on there.

Next, climb on to the dresser using the drawer, then jump off left to land on the telescope. You’ll need to hop on the red pin, and then the blue pin. Note the coordinates on the green piece of paper? Input those coordinates in the telescope using the dials. It is the same mechanic as the thermostat, jump on a dial and run till X is 87 and Y is 16.

You’ll see CJ in the school, and she will send you a message through Morse code using the flashlight. The message is “flush the thumb drive.” The thief is after the drive, so it’s time to get rid of it. Run out, past the main area and into the bathroom. Use the drawers to jump up to the countertop, and then jump over to your left and onto the hair dryer. You will need to stand slightly to its right and make it angle up and off to the left. Now turn it on by pressing one of the buttons and use the wind it creates to jump left and up into the shower and tub. You will land on the soap bar in the shower, go to the left of the soap and push it off the shelf it’s resting on. Once the soap drops, turn on the faucet to fill up the bathtub.

You will need to drop into the water and push the soap all the way to the left to the rubber duck. Use the soap and the duck to get out of the tub and jump on to the toilet paper rolls. From there, jump left to the toilet and use the thumb drive. It should go in. Jump back on to the toilet paper rolls then jump from this location and right on the flusher handle. Down the thumb drive goes. Now head back out of the bathroom and into the telescope room again. You’ll need to jump into the tub, swim and climb the rope to exit.

Pull up the coordinates of the school again on the telescope (X-87, Y-16) and decode the second message from CJ; “Thief is Mr. Silva.” You will see a dark figure pass through behind CJ in the classroom where she is flashing you the message. She is in trouble! Remember that toy car whose battery we stole? We need that car now! Run back right into the main room and past the laptop area. Get the battery back from the remote and jam it back into that car and hop in. Drive back into the laptop room only to find some books blocking your way. Get out of your new ride and climb the bookcase all the way to the top. Up and off to the left, shove that book, and you’ll have yourself a makeshift ramp.

Get back to your car, race towards the ramp and launch yourself straight out crashing through the window. Go right and drive your car towards the school, all the while dodging hazards such as fire hydrants. This part is quite easy, but you’ll need to watch out for the creek later, the path there follows a pattern, and once you have it, it’s quite easy too. You’ll finally get to the school and find a conveniently placed rake there. Drive up the rake and straight into Mr. Silva’s office. Run right and meet an equally tiny CJ initiate a conversation with her.

Mr. Silva attacks, threatening to shrink both of you into oblivion and sell the shrink ray to become rich. Run! /escape-the-room-2-cheats-moco-games.html. You’ll need to hide behind objects to avoid the shrink ray and run left using this strategy. Do not hide behind the stack of books on the carton of grape juice. Run up and jump onto the bookcase and then on the desk. Then dash right until you get to the globe. After the shrink ray hits the globe, dart off the desk and hide behind the books. You will need to very quickly push the globe, stand on it and jump on to the chair.

Jump up and over the lunchbox and then dash right to hide behind the mirror. You’d think that, for a science teacher, Mr. Silvia would understand the basic principle of reflection, but no; he shoots at the mirror, and the ray bounces back at him, shrinking himself and dropping into a jar with ants. Poptropica Shrink Ray Island is the 20th island on Poptropica. It arrived on June 30 for members and will be available to everyone else about a month later. In Shrink Ray Island, you are shrunk down to a tiny size and need to explore your surroundings while you try to locate a missing scientist and her shrink ray invention. Here’s a description of the island from the official Shrink Ray Island page.

A young genius has invented a ray gun that shrinks anything it touches – including you! But when the scientist and her invention go missing, you’ll have to keep the shrink ray from falling into the wrong hands, and find a way to bring yourself back to normal size. To solve a problem this big, you’ve got to think small!

Shrink Ray Island Cheats

Here is a step-by-step walkthrough of Shrink Ray Island with all the cheats and secrets for the adventure!

  1. When you arrive at Shrink Ray Island, go to the right to the fair building and inside find the door on the left that has a Science Fair door.
  2. Continue to go right till find a teacher with a mustache, he is a Mr. Silva and the two person on his right parents of CJ, they are worried to the student CJ is missing.
  3. Now go out to the building and proceed to the Avenue A on right and find the apartment of CJ.
  4. You can easily know their apartment because there is a cat standing outside the door. When you enter to the apartment, the cat will also go inside and you need to make him go out to the house.
  5. Follow the cat until it leaves the apartment. Now proceed to the computer table on the left side and when you do that a masked man will appear and make you shrink.
  6. Now jump above the drawer and try to go to the blower, turn on the blower and a thumb drive will be revealed under the bed. Pick it up and proceed to the right.
  7. You will be on the computer table again, if you look into the microscope beside the laptop, there is a note about a missing invention.
  8. Run to the right to get to the next part of the bedroom and then go right again to enter the living room. Watch out for the cat’s paw when you run past the living room door. Jump up in the air as you run past.
  9. Once you have entered to the room, you’ll see there’s a remote control on top of the refrigerator, but getting to the top is going to be more complicated than just jumping up on the fridge. You can try it but you won’t be able to get very far. You need to find another way.
  10. Run to the right and push the yellow sponge and jump up on the drawer. On the second drawer you will find a screwdriver. Then jump up onto the counter and run to the right to get to the next part of the kitchen.
  11. On the next site, there’s a piece of notepaper here that you need to get and it’s on the far right side on top of a table. Getting there is a bit tricky!
  12. First, push the rolling pin so that it knocks the teapot onto the other burner. Then run up and jump into the steam coming from the teapot. It will lift you up to the shelf and Push oil over onto its side so that it starts dripping out. Go down to the floor and then push the cat’s food bowl so that it’s under the dripping oil from above. Now jump back again on the counter and then find cat food bag and jump into it several times to make lots of food fall out. You should jump on it at least 4-5 times. The food and oil will stick together making a little stepping stool out of the cat food that you can use to get up on the table. Now go down again and push the cat food bowl to the right so that it is underneath the table. Jump up on top of the cat food and then up onto the table top. Walk to the right to pick up the piece of paper. Then before you go, pick up one of the purple grapes, which you’ll need for the next task.
  13. Go to the left side on the first part of the kitchen, bringing your grape, Jump up on the counter and run over to the toaster. Click on the plug to plug it into the socket.
    Jump onto the toaster handle while holding the grape and stand there for a few seconds. The toaster will heat up and then the handle will pop up, sending you flying up into the air. You’ll land on a shelf with a spatula, a cup full of utensils, and a salt shaker.
  14. Push the saltshaker to the left until it is at the very end of the spatula handle. Then jump up onto the cup full of utensils and then jump to the right of the spatula and hold and wait for the saltshaker to fly back to the spatula and that will make you fly up in the air.
  15. You’ll then land on top of the refrigerator, where you can pick up the remote control.
  16. Now go down and head to the right till you find a track toy, use your screwdriver and you will obtain a battery, right above the track is a remote control, use the batter and jump off the green button, the TV will turn on. Jump above to its antenna and you will be electrified. Because of this you can stick on the balloons and jump to the portrait.
  17. Jump to the left and you will find a fish food, shake it 5-7 times so the fish in the aquarium wont eat you, turn the aquarium off and dive to the aquarium. Under it is the diary key.
  18. Once you got the key, turn on the aquarium and you will blow outside.
  19. Now go to the right and push the green and yellow sponge next to the Power Clean spray bottle on the floor. Jump on the sponge and then onto the top of the bottle. Finally, jump to the top of the garbage can and go inside it.
  20. Once inside, you need to solve a puzzle by moving certain objects, like tuna treats cat food cans and blocks of cheese. Objects that can be moved are clickable. First click on it, and then click on either the right or left green arrows to move it. Be careful: if you move an object that was holding up others you want to watch out that everything doesn’t fall on top of you! You goal is to get to the top right corner of the puzzle and get the Torn Page.
  21. Once you have the Torn Page, click on the green restart button in the lower left of your screen to leave quickly.
  22. Run left to leave the kitchen and head to the living room and head back to the CJ’s bedroom and find the next clue.
  23. Go left to CJ’s bedroom and then jump up on her desk. Use the thumb drive to put it in the computer. You’ll need to enter the password. The correct password is m4r13 cur13. Marie Curie is CJ’s hero and you should replace the “i” with 1′, the “a” with a 4 and the “e” with 3. The blueprints for the shrink ray gun will be uploaded.
  24. Jump up again to get on the shelf with the Rubik’s Cube and her green diary. Use the key in your backpack to open the diary. Then use the torn page to complete the ripped part of the diary and you’ll get a message from CJ. It sounds like the thief is close by!
  25. Now jump on the thermostat in the wall and make it spin to red so that the heat turns on.
  26. Jump down onto the desk and stand next to the microscope. Then use the piece of paper from your backpack to put it down on the desk. Jump up onto the lamp and then bounce up and down a few times to bring it down closer to the paper. When it won’t go down anymore, click the light switch to turn it on. The heat from the lamp reveals the secret message from CJ that was written in lemon juice on the paper. It says, “Look for me in the telescope. School coordinates.”
  27. Now go to the left to the next section of the bedroom. Knock over the wastepaper basket and a bunch of paper will fall out and then rise up in the air from the heat coming up through the vent. Use the papers as jumping platforms to get up on top of the bed. Then pick up the morse code key from the top of the bed. Jump over onto the telescope. Then stand on each dial and spin them to the following coordinates: x – 87 and y – 16.
  28. Now look through the telescope. CJ is inside the classroom at PS 101 and she’s sending you a message in Morse code. Use the key to decipher the message and click each letter as she sends them to you. The full message is: flush the thumb drive. Leave the bedroom and head for the bathroom.
  29. The goal is to get past the bathtub and over to the toilet so that we can flush the thumb drive. Run to the left and jump up on the drawer handles to reach the counter top. Jump onto the hair dryer and stand on the back end so that it tips up. Then click on the red button to turn it on. Leap into the stream of hot air and then you’ll end up on top of the shower curtain rod and move to the next part of the bathroom. Drop down onto the soap dish and push the bar of soap off to the right. Jump down into the tub. Go to the right and climb up the rope. Then stand on the faucet handle and run to spin it and turn the water on. The water will fill up the tub so you can swim over to the floating bar of soap. Jump onto the bar of soap and from there jump onto the rubber duck’s back. Now jump out of the tub to the left. Jump onto the red plunger and onto the stack of toilet paper. Then leap up to the toilet bowl. While standing on the bowl, use the thumb drive in your backpack to drop it inside. Next, jump to the flush handle to send the thumb drive on its merry way. Finally, head back the way you came to leave the bathroom.
  30. Now we need to get out of the apartment, which is going to be challenging because we’re still shrunken and the cat is still waiting outside. So, go all the way back to the telescope in CJ’s bathroom and set it to the same coordinates (87,16). Peek into it again and CJ has a new message for you. The new message reveals the villain. It reads, “Thief is Mr. Silva. Now we need to escape the apartment and rescue CJ!”
  31. Go back to the living room and take the battery out of the remote control. Then put it into the toy truck. Get in and drive the toy truck left into CJ’s bedroom.
  32. Get out of the truck and jump up onto CJ’s bookshelf. Go to the top where you’ll find a book called, Tess’s Tree by Jess M. Brallier. Push the book off the shelf to make it land and form a ramp that your truck can go over. Jump back down and get in the truck. Drive over the ramp and you’ll see a short cinematic where you drive up and through the glass window out into the street.
  33. Outside the street, you’ll start playing an easy overhead mini-game where you need to drive the truck down the street while avoiding obstacles. The ride lasts a little over a minute and it very easy to complete.
  34. You’ll end up inside the window of Mr. Silva’s office in the school. Run to the left and there’s CJ!
  35. But will try to Mr. Silva to shrink you into oblivion. Now you need to avoid the ray gun.
  36. Now, in this game you need to hide behind objects when the ray gun appears so that it shrinks the object instead of you. Move to the left across the floor. You can either pause behind each object or skip every other one (if you’re quick enough). If you get hit by the ray gun, you have to start over. You’re goal is go up to the table and hide to mirror and when Mr. Silva tries to shrink you this time, the shrink ray reflects off the mirror and hits him! He shrinks himself and falls into the ant farm jar, where he’s trapped!
  37. CJ will appears and tell you to flip the switch to grow. Walk over and click the switch and then you’ll both return to normal size.
  38. The next thing is you are back on the science fair and you get the island medallion for solving Shrink Ray Island. You did it!
